There are usually lots of things to see and do in Sidmouth...however at the moment, and for the near future, it is super quiet with all events cancelled or postponed due to the Corona Virus. Restaurants are closed and so are tourist attractions but the natural beauty of the coastline and countryside is still very much on show in the lovely weather.
Many local bars and cafes are now open for take-away business only so if you are visiting for the day you will be able to enjoy Fish and Chips, ice-creams, teas and cake from many of your favourite places.
If you are looking at our Facebook page you will see that we dressed the B&B for VE day and Paul and I dressed up 1940's style and enjoyed a lovely cream tea in the garden. We even made it into the Sidmouth Herald!
The Donkey Sanctuary is remains closed.but we believe they are considering opening in September and we will update the list of events as soon as we have them.
Unfortunately the Sidmouth Folk Festival has been cancelled in 2020 for the first time in it's history. The Festival will be back in 2021 from 29th July to 6th August and we will look forward to welcoming new and returning guests.
